Submissions are due Thursday, May 25, at 5:00 p.m. The Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing (GHC) is a conference hosted by the Anita Borg Institute that annually draws more female technologists than any other such event in the world. This program gives companies the chance to recruit high-quality students from all over India.ĭuring GHCI, we offer specially designed Back to Work sessions for women who took a 2-3 year break from work. Abie Awards recipients are honored at Grace Hopper Celebration as we recognize their incredible talents and efforts to use technology to change the world. We also host a Career Fair at GHCI that can be attended by women students only. The scholarship covers registration, lodging, and meals during the celebration.
Each year, thousands of attendees from all over the world converge in various US cities (this year it was in Orlando, Florida) to celebrate the legacy of Rear Admiral Grace Hopper. One is a scholarship program so that women students from computing, engineering, and IT backgrounds can attend GHCI. The Grace Hopper Celebration, produced by, is the world’s largest gathering of women technologists. Thus we offer two programs specifically for students. With ’s background in research, it remains important to us to support academia. They also run a GHC in India: AnitaBorg India.

There are also unique programs that take place within the overall celebration: Grace Hopper Celebration is a conference full of inspiration, energy and thousands of amazing women from various countries. Sessions cover topics about technology, leadership, entrepreneurship, management and much more. In 2016 GHCI had 2,909 attendees and 43 sponsor companies.
GHCI focuses on research, career, and entrepreneur interests of women in technology. celebration, the Grace Hopper Celebration India is the largest technical conference for women in the country and is co-presented with the Association for Computing Machinery-India.
